Endlers

Like i've said my lfs has feeder guppies that look like endlers i've seen in sum pics. the are about .75 inches long for males and females are about as big as male fancy guppies. are these endlers or guppies?

buy some and take pics, and show us, thats probly the only way we'd be able to know for sure. they probly are, because ive never seen any big ones, the ones at my lfs are about the size you mentioned.

no digi cam the males are like grayish with spots of greens blues and oranges with like red tail streaks and the occasional sword i think. i may get some cause you can't beat 10 for 1.00.

u could scan pics from a regular camera. they sound like they minght me. you should get some to save them from being eaten though.

i got some from rosedale mills once they all died tho but i didn't kno wut i was doing so cheap i shout by 10 of em. thay are labeled as wild feeder guppies i believe

all feeder guppies ive seen are very blan and colorless.

No fish store would be dumb enought o sell endlers as feeders. What they have is probably a guppy strain with a wild-type coloration which looks somewhat like endler coloration.

some LFS are really dumb. i'm sure that they minght do that. one of my lfs never herd of cichlids before, and those are one of the most commen fish around, and the funniest thing about that was, THEY SOLD THEM!! I'm like come on there are some right there and it even said cichlids on them. I bet that the lfs slamster17 goes to has stoners working there that were probly stoned when they put them in the feeder fish place.

I've posted this very same subject recently, here. The link has pictures of what I saw in the feeder tank, which I know were Endlers. None of the people at the LFS knew what an Endler's Livebearer was yet they had a whole tank of them labeled "feeder guppies" and were selling them 10 for $1.00.

most feeder fry range a bit, sum could be guppys sum could be endlers, they dont keep any particular breed of feeder.

mine does sell endlers as feeder gups. I think "feeder guppies" are just female endlers. There are some males though.

wut you posted with pics were the kind of fish my lfs marks as feeder guppies. the have feeder gups and minnows.the gups or endlers are males and females. lots of splotches withg a grayish dorsal and a highlighted tail.
