been seeing endlers livebearers mentioned a lot lately checked em out on google. thgought some of em looked a bit colourfull almost to the point of being psychadelic lol anybody got them and how do they look in a planted setup??

i have em!!!

they are well cool!!!
kinda like guppies but smaller and on acid :fun:

i brought some last week then 1 more 2day to finish the group
they are a bit timid so are best in a planted tank
but i think the plants really help show off the colours

will post a pic when they stay still for a sec lol

a dark substrate and background is also recomended

I LOVE EM :hyper:

I love my endlers. So far they fill 3 tanks and growing. They are very colorful and active. They make things like zebra danios look lethargic. If you can get hold of a wild strain, they have a lot of very nice color variations to them. An example is my avatar. It is one of my first wild type males.

endlers are great! i've lost a chunk of mine to a mystery illness (worms? parasites? random wasting disease? ANNOYING!) but other than that they are great little fish for a smaller tank and look good in planted tanks! mine are in with silk plants - but that's because they live with a spixi snail who is partial to live plants.

very active, greedy little fish. as soon as they see humans they cluster in the corner nearest to you and wait to be fed!

i have top green swords and red chests.
