what SG can endlers take up to i have mine in a pretty small pathetic tank currently and i thought if they can survive ill throw them in with my mollies and i'll have a brackish live bearer tank  obviously i would acclimatise them over a few days but im not sure if there just low end or if they can take anything like the mollies :good:

Endlers can indeed take anything up to seawater. They have even been kept in mini reef aquaria where other, bigger fish would be unsuitable. There's a whole chapter about livebearers in brackish water in my book, and Endlers are featured. But they're not "like mollies". Mollies are basically indifferent to salinity and you can take them to seawater or back down to freshwater in the space of an hour, perhaps less. Guppies of whatever species require time. So go slow, check they're feeding happily, and keep an eye on them. Most people who report their guppies die in brackish/marine conditions have gone too fast.

Cheers, Neale
