i bought feeder fish for my turtle, the store guy (not my usual store) said they were guppys. for the most part they were small and all silver eithout fancy fins. there was one with nice color spots. i rescued him and put him in the palmer tank. is this a guppy or an endler?

this is not the exact fish i am tanking about, but he looks kinda like it. any ideas?

From what I have read about Endlers online (and what I have seen with the couple of them that I got) they seem to be either a relative of the guppy or a subspecies. They don't look like what you showed. They are more like little blotches of color and the tails have hardly any color at all. I have a picture of one but I don't know how to post pictures. Feeder guppies are usually guppies that breeders can't sell as fancy ones. They are closer looking to wild guppies but they still have fancy guppy coloration. If I could figure out how to post pics I would show you an endler. Sorry! :-(
