Hi all,
I have some black bar endler fry and they were born on the 1st jan i think.I bought them 2 weeks ago.I was talking to the person who i bought them off and he said that if i was wanting to breed them they would have to have there own tank a tank with just endler. Is this true and why.
Can anyone clear this up or explain more please.
Thanks
Mat

Yes. They don't want them in with Guppies, because they can hyrbidise. Endlers are extinct (or almost extinct) in the wild, so most people want to keep the strain pure. Though most have already been hybridised...but hey.

Also, just an Endler tank will lead to many more fry surviving. Endler fry make a good snack for most fish.
