he is a male betta, and yes i know i was stupid

i have decided to increase the numbers of my remaining endlers from 4 to 8
mine a hybrids with a snakeskin guppie (i think, will post pics soon) and i was wondering if normal endlers will school with them or will they be shunned?
thanx in advance

they will be just fine. :good:

yep, they will mix just as normal guppies and endlers do, thats my experience, i've got loads of guppies and endlers in my planted tank and lots of hybrid fry, i love the hybrid fry, can't get enough of them, i am growing on some fantastic specimans!

Real endlers will mix freely with guppies and hybrids. The down side to mixing them is that you will then have nothing in the tank but hybrids. Guppies and endlers hybridize easily and from the day they are in a tank together you can figure that you will only have hybrid fry from then on. I am a breeder of endlers so I have no guppies anywhere in my house. It's the only way I can be sure to never mix any. Accidents do happen but my endler bloodlines are too important to me to allow the possibility of getting a hybrid.
The other side of the coin is that some of the best looking fish out there are guppy / endler hybrids. It just isn't what I want in my tanks.

As darren says, they will be fine, but serious endler breeders will frown at you ~

Darren is fine here, as i know he's had several endlers over the years. ;)

As keeping them together is fine though and is not shunned against. However it's never good to try to sell crosses as true's which is what people don't like.
