My female endlers has now had her fry. They are all in a smaller tank on their own.

When do I need to remove her from the tank - in other words when can the male fry make her pregnant?

Also I have heard endlers can store sperm. Does this mean that even if she has no contact with a male she may become pregnant again?

Hoping to be very selective with my breeding, so may put the male endlers in with the fry in a couple of weeks and her in the 70l community tank where there are no males and she can have a bit of a rest!! If she does pop again, then the other fish will cull most of the babies.

The fry will be going to my friends LFS once they are old enough.

Thanks

guppies are sexualy muture at 3 months but i dont know aabout endler
yes they can store sperm so evan if theres no male in the tank she could still be having fry for upto 6 months

An endler can begin reproducing at about 6 weeks and a female can carry sperm for quite a long time with no males around. If you don't want fry, separating the sexes needs to start very young and continue for life.
