Yeah they have munched on the odd algae waffer before the fry seem to like it, but i find a food what really bulks them up is tubifex my endler and platy fry love it and you can really see a increase in growth and poop lol when they have been fed it. Its also a good food to leave in if you are going out for the day as it seems to last a good day or so

I will have to try some convential foods for them a few more vegitables upto now they have only really had pea's and their dried, live and flake foods will have to see if i can make them some more fresh substitutes.
