Heys!
Well, I said I'd let everyone know when my endler had her babies, well, I dunno if she did or not, lol
She was getting fatter each day (pregnancy) but then she was super skinny, I thought she gave birth in the tank (5.5) but apparently she aborted? I have a huge hornwort plant in the tank, and no babies at all... I checked the filter and everything, and it's not like I'm missing seeing them and it's only a 5.5 gallon tank  The only fish that are in there are my endler, and her 3 babies that are 1-2 months old,.... (not sure exactly) lol
Anyways, I'm not worried or anything just merely curious as to what could have happened. I thought maybe she aborted when I put the plant in the tank... (I cleaned the tank the same day too) but I've done that before and it's never happened.. What do you guys/girls think?

Ah, okies, well hopefully she will have more babies in about 23 days or so. :good:

The 23 days is correct for a typical ELB. I have not noticed a female of mine aborting but I have so many in my colony that I doubt that I would ever notice it, even if it happened. I always have a ton of fry in my endler tanks who are acting as if the world was their oyster.

Good News! Apparently that hornwort plant in the 5.5 gallon tank works like a charm! lol, I found one lil fry swimming around this afternoon while I was going to feed the 2 month old babies. :hyper: So I'm guessing she had more than one fry as she was extremely big. heh, anyways, thanks for posting back though! I really appreciate it! BTW, my male endler that's 2 months old has gotten quite a bit of color now! He's got some black spots with some orange to him too! Extremely neat! ^_^
