ive just bought 3 echinodorus rose plants as i liked the look of them and wasnt really at a very local shop so got them anyway.... they are tropica plants and are about 18 inches tall

are they ok without co2?

i dose TPN+ and easycarbo dailly.

It should be absolutely fine pal. They do recommend a good substrate as they take alot of nutrients up through their roots, as is with most Echi's. Stunning plant, i had one in my 3ft but sold it because it touched the front pane, back pane and side pane of glass, whilst sending a flower shoot another 3ft above the water line :p Got pretty huge in my tank, that was with no CO2, no ferts and just under 2WPG.

i agree with above, they'll be fine. i had one that grew really well with 1.25wpg and no ferts. :good:

They can take in as much nutrients through their leaves as they can through their roots ;)
A nutrient substrate just allows for a larger margain for error.
