I just got this 40 gallon Breeder Tank (36' x 18' x 16.5') to my collection of fish tanks. (if your wondering why I got this odd shape tank, it's because I like how wide it is.)

Right now I'm starting to get into Salt Water Fish and thought this 40 gallon Breeder would be great for a starter (I'm only going with a basic salt-water with no reef or live rocks.) but I'm holding back because I know fresh water a lot better. I was wondering what fish would match a fish tank that looks like this? (fresh or salt)

I'm using a Aqua Clear 50 filtration and a Ebo Jager 100W Heater (temp is 75-77 now). I have a 36' deluxe full hood fluorescent Light and also a 36' T5 double Linear Strip light

I know if I go with salt water, I would have to buy more equipment.

Here it is when the two fluorescent light is on (looks a bit cloudy, I know)

Here it is with just the regular flurescent light

Here is a picture of the two fluorescent light. ( I think you can tell which one is the regular and the T5)

A little request, please no repeats when suggesting.

Thanks for reading :)

With a few more rocks I think some african cichlids would look nice. :)
