As some of you will know, my emperor cardinals bred.
I have 20 babies and they are all eating and growing well.
I was wondering what would be the best way to sell them when they grow up.
Also, would tank raised fish sell for more than wild caught fish?

thanks

how much are you selling them for ?
and how much would you sell 5 for as i might buy them at a reasonable price

tank rasied are just dearer by 5-6 pounds as they dont come from the wild and a lot more hardy

tank raised cost more because the demand for them is higher while the supply is lower than wild caught. Law of supply and demand. There arent that many breeders because you dont make much money. Here in the States tank bred/raised go for about 10$ more than wild ones.

It doesnt matter how much more hardy they are, when it comes down to business, the law of supply and demand takes over. We capitalists have no heart, if we did, we would get pushed out by walmart and microsoft.

that is what i meant got it wrong way round with the pricees

if you give me till 4weeks to get the money i will give £70 for 4

£70 for 4 sounds great.

I wont post them so you will have to collect.

If you ask, I will give you my adress ect nearer the time.

If I were you, I'd try to sell as many personally as I can, and then offer extras to an LFS. Be honest with them that you're breeding them and will occasionally have some extras to sell but are by no means a bigtime breeder/supplier. If they typically sell Bangaii for say 20 quid, I'd see if you could get 10-15 for your own, but be prepared to bargain :)
