Emergency Or Not? For My I.d.

Baffles me why they would sell the fish, after i told them i had a 55, oh well.

They sell them to make money. I do think that buyers of fish or indeed anything from cars to washing machines, need to do their own research first so that they know when someone is trying to pull a fast one. My late father once told me to take with a big pinch of salt, anything told to me, by someone who was trying to sell me something. I have found that this has stood me in good stead .

At least you have learned a valuable lesson and will be able to offer advice in this regard to someone who may be in the same position as you were. :good:

See lol thats the funny thing about it, at first i wanted a bala, i did the research and bam i said no, then i see these small id sharks, i search and i find nothing, little did i know there clasified as indecentive sharks or some word like that.

Either way, your correct, last time im ever putting any faith in a sales person.

The funny thing is, they offered me a job recently, in the fish department, i asked, well i dont know too much about fish, only mine, they said dont worry about it just come to an interview and done. I didnt take the job, #1 im lazy #2 im not about to bull#### someone into buying a fish i dont know squat about.

NEW development.

I just checked on the shark and his wound on the right side isnt red anymore, its just like a crater with pure white inside. Looks like an infection to me, so im still gonna be transferring him to the meds.

However does this mean hes getting better?

Ill get those ammonia, nitrate etc readins soon and we'll talk more. Later.

I'm abit concerned that it could turn to hole in the side, will get you some info so you know more about it.

So am I.

Alright i finally got the numbers here they are.

NH3:0
No+3:40
NO2:20
gH:150
kh:0
PH:6.8

I was told that the KH levels are really low, and nitrate or nitrite forgot which were really high, reasons probably to much feeding, and i can admit to that.

Also talked to the guy and he agreed with the idea that its most likely a small injury gone infected.

I was directed to do water changes, told em id bring back a sample again to see if the aquariums stabalized, then to start the melfex meds going.

Ok thats about it.

Yes your nitrite is high do a water change, good luck, hope he makes it.
