Emergency: My Swordtail Is On His Last Legs.

Ok, good luck and fingers crossed.

I dont think he's gonna pull thru this, atm, he has his head pointing down, and his fins are not moving, but his gills are moving, so i know he's still alive... im just praying for the best.

I got a question for you guys, i have had 2 fish deths in the past week, and this one will probabley be the 3rd... should I add some medications to my big tank just to be on the safe side? what do you think?

What signs were the other fish showing as it pointing two ways bacterial to parasite, could even be both.

the other 2 fish were acting very lathargic, kinda like this one was, but i realy didnt catch it untill it was too late...

With 1 fish, once he was dead, he had this same kind of slimy stuff on his body, but not on his tail... it was like spots of white slimy stuff all over his body, looks the same as this fish has..

All my current fish all seem to be doing fine...

Do you think i should medicate the big tank? or watch closely for signs of fish sickness?

You could be dealing with a parasite, any flicking and rubbing, or laboured breathing.
Check the fish over with a magifying glass to see if you can see anything.
Going now be back in a while.

Look under slime desease for now.

Symptoms: frayed fins, sluggishness, dulled coloration, damaged gills, and even death.

I noticed some of my fish have "dulled coloration", 1 of the swordtails have a few white spots in her color, but its not a slime or anything, its in her actual color... i have all red swordtails, and the white spots are in 2 different places on her body, one near the front of her stomic, and the other near the tail (not on the tail, but before the tail fin)... I dont remember her having those spots when i got her...

What should i do?

*EDIT*
I just looked at a sheet i have, and it looks like its a "True Fungus" or "Body Fungas".

It looks like a white cotton like mucus over the tail, with stringy parts.

For now I would take the bacterial route.
If the fish are not flicking it not pointing to a parasite at the moment.
A true fungus is quite rare but columnaris is common.

This is the best site on columnaris.
Columnaris has many diguises, can come in a variety of colours, bleached out patches, fluffy, stringy, spots, saddleback columnaris, mouth fungus it quite endless.
How big are the spots on the fish grains of salt size, or bigger.
Columnaris spots are a greyish white colour with a spot in the centre, or a circling of red and the outside of the spot, also they can be fluffy looking.

She has finaly passed away.

The spots on this one fish are about the size of maybe a 1/2 cm (5mm) (3/16 of an inch)

All i know, is one fish has those white spots, and the one that just died had that white fluffy cotton type stuff around his tail. and it lituraly eat his tail away, when he passed, i inspected him, it looked like most of the cotton was gone (maybe from the meds?), but he had no tail fin left at all.

These spots just look like bleech spots, kinda like when u spill bleech on your pants, no red, no spots inside, just a bleeched out white spot on her skin.

It seems only that one fish has a white bleeched spots, all the others seem fine.

R.I.P.
Sounds bacterial to me I would take that route for now.
You can get bleached out patches and spots with columnaris.
Good luck.
