Video in Isolation Tank

Very cute bless him, looks like a bacterial infection to me, septicemia, plus it looks like in the film like he has swim bladder, i would use a med a bacterial med, and feed some shelled peas.

Reddening of the base of the fin is bacterial problems and you need to check the stats for your main tank to make sure water quality is good. Bacteria cant be seen or tested for but starting with good water is the first place to start.
There isnt realy anything that works for sale in british shops but you can try the interpet anti bacterial and see how that goes.
I looked at the video and the fish has swimbladder problems either through bacteria or something physically wrong with the swimbladder such as disease or over or under inflating.
Feeding too much flake food causes gasses to form in the gut as well so finding out what you feed as well.
What is the nitrate level of the tank and how long has the fish been swimming like that?
Dont feed the fish for 3 days to clear out the intestines and then feed some boiled frozen peas that youve either cut really small or squashed for a couple of days.

Nitrites 0 Nitrates low Ammonia 0

Fish does not get flake food.

Sinking pellets, blood worm, dalphina (sp?) shrimp, veg, peas etc, no floating food.

It has swam like this from I got it years ago.

Only got worried as there is clearly blood coming from the fin base.

Swim bladder is hard to cure once it has progressed, don't know your location, but antilbiotics are your best bet, good luck.

Keeping the water really clean is about your best bet, so do regular water changes to keep any bacteria in the water low. Reddening base fins is a sign of septiceamia as Wilder has said and anti bacterial med without going to the vet for something stronger is your best option.
Using aquarium salt with the meds is a good idea as well. Add a level teaspoon per gallon to give a tonic effect and 12 hours later add another level teaspoon per gallon. Leave it like that for a week and see if theres any improvement. If you do water changes remember to re calculate the salt you take out but not for topping up the water.
