Hi jenni84, the parent's I got from star4. I got 5 in total, I think these two are slightly more mature than the other three. The other three are made up of one male and two females so you never know. Thanks for the comment.

Quick update, Eliotti fry are still doing well, I think there are around 20 left, some are trying to explore but are soon rounded up by one of the parents. The difference between livebearing parents and spawners are quite amazing. The TV is having a nice rest at the moment.

Sorry guys, abit of bad news on two fronts I'm afraid. The Eliotti parents did a great job for a week, then I noticed on the sat that some of the fry were venturing off and were being picked off. On sunday there were only 3 fry left and looked like the parents had just given up. But for the last two days the two are back behind the bogwood, so you never know more fry and maybe they will be more sucessfull with this lot. Gill, the puffers lasted along time then without explanation I lost one, no sign's of illness or anything just got up in the morning and he was floating on the surface. The other one lasted a few more weeks when the same happened, they were eating well. Well gutted, I'm kicking myself now for not accepting that tank from you. On your other re-homies I have even more fry, I've put all the adults with fry and the featherfins in the 70 litre, the larger fry are starting to show markings allready. In November I may be meeting up with fishyfeet to exchange his short tails with some of the longtails. Will take some piccys at the weekend and Up load on monday. I'm going to have to change the tank info again. Thanks for the interest guy's.
