These fish are just...wow!

I have a question on them though. I have heard that they are actually less aggressive then their more common cousin: the firemouth. I have a 35 gallon long community tank and was looking for a bigger centerpiece fish. Would ellioti work in this type of tank? It currently has 8 serpae tetras, 3 gold dust lyretail mollies, and a powder blue dwarf gourami. It also has a firemouth cichlid but I will more than likely remove him from this tank as him and the dwarf don't get along. The firemouth is small right now so the dwarf gourami can defend himself pretty well, but once the firemouth gets bigger he'll surely hurt, if not kill, the dwarf gourami. I'm hoping the ellioti will be less aggressive as others have said, and in my opinion are much prettier than the firemouth, so it seems like a win-win. I was just hoping someone could confirm this for me.
