His colors are amazing - two beauties in one go! If that doesn't cheer one up, I don't know what will. : )

In the first pic, is body looks really long. Very nice rosetail, quite a few people on this forum are starting to buy the less known, you could even call them oddball, bettas, but they look great :good:

Oh, that reminded me that I wanted to ask. What is a "rose tail"? Is that because the tail looks a little more "frilly" rather than flat? Or does it have to do with the color pattern?

I also have a Double rose tail - but this one has some fin damage too so will post when he looks better

his desription from the site where i got him explains why he looks long

His colouration is dark red and pink,
he also has a form of copper in his dorsal fin. These colours suggest
that he holds the dragon colouration gene. He came to us with severe
fin damage and this has grown back to how you see it now, there is
still much more growing of the tail to take place with good care. Will
eat anything offered

Thanks for the info so, is a long body something to be desired?

And what exactly is a "rose tail"?

Never heard of a rose tail before. He looks similar to a hlaf moon, but smaller, more like a delta tail, but I see why they call him a rose tail. :good:

Lovely Boy must be amazing when fully flared.
