Elite Stingray Filter Help

Got a new tank to be divided 2 of our betta boys, (elite 35) sorted out the substrate and plugged it all in. The filter is REALLY powerful (looks like a mini whirlwind) and apparently you can turn it down, but how/where? I'm completely lost!

Ive got a stingray filter and i dont know how to turn down the flow but i just turn the nozzle so it points into the corner distributing the flow a bitr more

i dont think you can turn them down, i have a stingray filter and there is no way of turning them down, i think its great though becuase it pushes the water around just like a river would

i just have the current directed behind the filter hitting the wall, reducing hte current.. and i loswered it as wel..
