Electric Yellows

Hi i was just wondering what size electric yellows will have to be before they start breeding?

Labidochromis caeruleus have bred for me when they were 35-40 mm long, but females grew larger and were healthier if I discouraged breeding until they were 50-60 mm long.

I agree.
They should be as big as possible.
When I had my Malawi setup I lost both my female yellow labs. They bred when too small and they didn't have the resources to go for a few weeks without food.
