Electric Light Timer

Any electronic store or DIY store should sell them, even supermarkets should.
I got a cheap deal, 6 for £10 at a market stall. A bit of a risk as cheap ones may
not be as efficient, but everythings OK so far.

I've got a cheap one that irritates the hell out of me by failing to switch on every 10 days or so. The one I bought from Tescos is much more reliable but I can't remember how much it cost.

If your in the UK dont buy any from Wilkinsons. Mine started to fry after a few days. My ones from Wickes are pretty good.

I've looking at electronic timers as well, but have been put off because they all seem to state that they’re not suitable for use with fluresont lighting. So are they safe to use with tank lighting?

I use a £10 digital, 7 day event programmable mains timer from B&Q. Normally I would not recommend buying anything from that hole, but the timer I got was incredibly cheap and well designed for what it does.
