Electric Blue Rams

I saw these at my LFS today for £20 each, but they were really pretty! Is this cheap? Also, are they aggressive and how big will they grow. Thanks

no thats extremely expensive
there not agressive and grow around 2.5"-3"

also they are quite a specialist and sensitive fish, they are a strain of the german blue ram and require high temp (28-32 celcius) low ph (5.5-6.5) and low nitrates <30ppm

Thanks, I didn't realise they required such a high temperature, so I guess I won't be getting them. I might just get some normal rams in the future (I can't remember the name but they are common!)

The electric blue rams as mentioned are a strain of german blue rams, both of which require high temps and soft water.

You are probably thinking of bolivian rams which would be more suitable, they accept a wider range of parameters and are not quite as sensitive, although you will have to ensure a good regular maintenance as they also dont like high nitrates.
