Eheim Vs Fluval

well, judging by the sounds of people on this forum, eheim is a more reliable product than fluval. So go the eheim, even though it costs $60 more, you shouldn't have any issues for a long time

Eheims are designed to pretty much last forever, and unless seriously abused they do, one of my classic 2217s was previously used on the lfs marine display tank and has been running for over 10 years.

A little known piece of information is that Eheim actually make the water pumps for NASA to be used in the space projects.
