I've had an Eheim Sludge Extractor (battery operated) since last October. It was working fine until recently. While it does pick up the sludge and deposit in the filter chamber, rather than the water draining back into the tank (while the sludge stays in the filter element), mine has been filling up with water so I have to open it to empty it. It sort of defeats the purpose of having the thing.
I tried scrubbing out the inside of this filter chamber, but still can't seem to get it to drain the water like it used to!!!
Any suggestions or experience with this (or where to get a replacement filter chamber), I'd appreciate hearing from you!!
