hi all,
i recently aquired a filter as described above ,was wondering how it works and if it is going to be more effective on my 240 ltr tank than my 1000 ef +uv i have

in almost every way. though the wet and dry bit, takes some working out.

Make sure that you take a look at the part about the height from the filter to the tank and the length of the hoses. The breather tube should be vertical and straight and above the tank. Let me know if you have any questions. It's a great filter.

lol. in such a detailed instruction set. it craks me up to read.

Open the tap connector of the intake pipe (IN) and establish
the syphon.

If only.

dont get me wrong its not fiendishly difficult. but it aint turning a tap, either.
but, then again. it is turning a tap. after the first time you prime it.
if you take care (ensure all taps are closed. refill the filter after cleaning)
re-establishing the syphon, is instant.

so its a gob full of tank water (sucked from the outlet pipe) for you. first time, anyway.lol
