Eheim Pickup 2012

I have the eheim pickup 2012. The box says it's rated for upto 200l but the flow rate doesn't seem high

It does 220-500 litres per hour

Yeah, lots of the filter manufacturers have interesting opinions as to tank size possible from their filters.
 
Most of us go for around 3 times turnover as a rule of thumb, going up to 10 times for planted tanks and up to 20 times for marine.
 
There is, of course, a lot more to filters than just flow rate, but as I said, it's a good rule of thumb.

I believe that Eheim are pretty good and with their l/ph rates compared to other manufacturers who's stated lphs are never achievable once full of media.
 
Obviously depends on your tank size, bioload and flow needed as to whether it is enough for your needs but As long as it keeps the water clean and keeps ammonia and nitrites at 0 then it's doing what it should.
