Eheim Float Ball

is the below link the right float for the EHEIM Pro 2 (2028).

it says it is, but mine had a white ball (this is red and has a spring), has anyone had this filter?

My Eheim 2234 has a white ball also and that part does not look like the right one.

The part number, 744410, is the correct number, However, the picture is not of that part. Eheim lists the part description as "Floater, spring and holder" which matches what is in the sellers picture. I have two of the Pro II 2026 and mine has no spring and uses a white ball and has the orange clip that holds the ball in the shaft.

It is possible that during the production years before the Pro II line was discontinued that Eheim redesigned the float with the one pictured in the Ebay listing. I would suggest that you contact Eheim to determine what the story is before you buy.
