Eheim Ehfisubstrat Pro

I'm in the process of converting my eheim 2213 to use the old style layout of media inbetween two spacers, not using the white media canister. It's been a while since I bought any media but have realised that the Ehfisubstrat is not like it used to be and comes in the pro format as balls. I used to always use the old style media in bags, and am assuming I can do the same with the new media but just wanted to check that there is no reasons to not use a media bag.

I use Substrat Pro in various filters (internal and external): I haven't had any problems using it loose, in containers, baskets or bags. As long as the "bag" is compatible with the filter (does not affect flow too much), I don't see any reason why it would be a problem with any media.
