I just bought a Eheim Classic (2217). It's been 2 hours and I still don't have it set up. I think I am pretty much ready to go but I have one piece left over. It's a small black round cap. There were two in the box but the flat one fits into the output tube. Where does the round one go?!

UPDATE: I have no idea how to delete posts. I no longer need an answer to this question; I found out that the round think is one of the 'feet' on the bottom of the canister and it came off in the box. I hope this filter treats me well! Has anyone here had experience with ditching the u-shaped hard plastic piece for the output tube? Can I just connect the long hard output tube directly to the main soft tube?
