I'm trying to find pics of the dual intakes on the filter. It looks to me like there are only two ports on the filter, so I'm guessing the intake hose just splits somewhere up the line? Any have pics of one set up? I'm already looking for a Christmas present :)

Not sure where you got this idea. I think the 2075 is the same as other Eheims and calls the shutoff block that sits on top of the pumphead a "dual" but it just refers to the intake and output valves. All of the parts literature looks the same as the other filters with one intake setup and one output spray bar setup.

I have one - there are two ports: in and out. These go into the block which can be locked off maintaining the syphon which is utterly brilliant when doing water changes etc. Also when the port block is locked off it can be removed for filter cleaning etc. One tip is to empty the water out of the filter into a bucket and then use this to refill the filter so you have exactly the right amount of liquid in it :)

OK. So what's with their claim that it has two intakes? Seen this on several sites:

Eheim improves on its pro canister line with increased output and convenience for larger aquariums with the Professional 3 series. Unique, triple adapter keeps aquarium well circulated with 2 intakes and 1 output.
