i woek up and i have found eggs ( i think) in my tank! there are some on the tank glass and alot on my plants. what do i do to keep them alive? :(

i woudl take a pic but my camera is poor quality and i think they came from a danio as yesterday one was really bloated now she is less bloated D:

They are from your Corries. Corries lay on Glass. If you scrap them off with a razor blade and into a breeding net, just let them be and they should hatch out.

i don't have a razor blade :( i have taken the leaf off with soem of the eggs on and left the leaf in the breeding net with the eggs on did i do good there? and the glass ones are still on the glass :(

Cory eggs are pretty tough, you can just use your finger to scrape them off if you don't have a blade.

Whwn i took angel eggs off the glass, i used a Library card. I took a jar and saw it under the clump, pressed it ont he glass, and slowly pulled down, they just fell off. You might want to try that.

most of the eggs are now in a breeding net (one drifted away) and if i wan these little critters to survive i have to care for them in the best possible way. so i need to prepare myself.......with what? i have to 3 gallon tanks would that be good for a nursery tank? and what to feed the fry if they hatch?

Thanks for your help so far!

they are turning a browny colour does that mean they have been fertilized?

they should be ok in the breeding trap until they hatch.

3 gallons would be ok as a starter tank..

how would i set up the 3 gallon tank? some say no substrate but others say get substrate. also would they be fine in the breeding net even when they hatch? i know not forever but for like a month?

Make sure the 3 g is cycled and heated. I would suggest a sponge filter.. No subsrtate. I would feed frozen BBS,

The fry will probably be better off in the breeding net than in the 3 gallon. The breeding net means that they have the benefit of the water stability of an established and larger tank. The 3 gallon will get away from you as far as water quality and will be much harder to care for. Meanwhile, you could try to cycle a sponge filter in the main tank so that as the fry get bigger, you will have a cycled sponge filter to put into a fry tank.
