Eggs Turning White

over the weekend nearly half of my convict eggs have turned white what is going wrong?

thats means they're dead doesn't it ?? not 100% sure at all so get a 2nd opinion, but i don't think white eggs is good

Yeah, white eggs are dead eggs, it will either be because of fungus or the eggs not being fertile.

Make sure you take any dead eggs out.

this morning all the eggs have gone and i cant find any fry they are guarding a little crevice in the bogwood do you think they are in there?

They may be in there, my rainbow cichlids seem to be starting to hide the fry at first, keeping them under rocks, pots and in a dense planted area of the tank.

i think they have moved them again,now they are guarding a coconut cave and going in there one at a time
