Eggs Layed, But Who From?

hi there i just seen about 15 to 20 tiny eggs stuck onto the pipe where the pump is. i have 4 kuhli loach 5 glass catfish 1 red line torpedo barb and 5 cory catfish (3 bronze and 2 albino) no idea who has laid these eggs can anyone help? Thanks James

look for corydora eggs on internet that is probally what it is my corys lay eggs on my amazon swords and filter every 2 weeks

i will try and get a picture on here tomoz. They look quite green if that helps i think they are khuli loach eggs

If they look like this, they are most likely from either your bronze or albino corydoras. It's not likely to be from the loaches and none of the other fish you have will spawn as readily as the corys.

Here's a good article about raising corydoras that was written by one of our members. There are other ways of raising them too. Don't hesitate to ask questions in the Catfish/Corydoras section.

Cory eggs can vary in color from white to cream, to various shades of brown, but I don't know about green. They will hatch in about 3-4 days if they haven't been eaten by then.

ok thanks for all your time much appreciated. would there be no chance it could of been the khuli loach because i did notice 1 of them gettin bigger bodied

I won't say that having the loaches breed in your tank is impossible, just unlikely. I will move your second thread to the Cyprinids, Characins and Atherinids section here. You are most likely to get the best information about loaches there.

Just for info. Kuhli loaches eggs are green, quite a bright green so maybe this is what they are. Unusual though, well done!

they look like cory eggs, i've never seen my khulis lay eggs up that high, they seem to lay them ground level.
