How do you use egg yoke for feeding fry ?

Do you boil; the egg until the yoke is hard and crumble it with water ?

do you boil until the yolk is still runny and mix with water ?

i have read you can freeze in ice cube trays and feed it that way or bottle it in an atomiser and spray the liqui food on the surface

Can anyone clear this one up for me im quite confused and thats no yoke

Firstly, newly hatched fry should really be fed live food. Often with non-live food, it doesn't "click" with the fry that it IS food... and they can starve. Egg yolk is usually only used when you're in a pinch and can't get ahold of anything else. It should only be fed for the few few days or so, so make sure you have other food lined up. It also fouls the water really badly if you put too much in or don't clean out the excess.

As for how to do it, you hard boil the eggs (boiling for about 20 minutes should do it), take a small piece of the yolk, crumble it into some warm water in a spray bottle, and spray once (or twice if there are tons of fry) over the surface of the water. You should be able to keep the spray bottle in the fridge, and it'll last the few days that you'll be feeding it. :)
