i ordered some plants of ebay, 25 for 3.99, a nice mix of front middle and background plants. they finally turned up looking a bit tatty, ive put them in and they look great, and will be even better when they establish and spread a bit. i put some dried rabbit poo, at the roots, this was some advice i was given and really seems to work, has anyone had any bad experiences with plants via ebay

ive have great plants off ebay, however i tend to stick with tropical-plants.co.uk as ive always had 100% brilliant results with them -
the problem is with ordering anything living online is that you may not get it alive when it arrives!
however on ebay you can find rarities at low low prices so its worth the risk really - usually you can perk the plants back up..

good luck with the plants :)

its the only place i could find anything nice and small for the front though ill go now and check out the site you mentioned

been tempted to buy from ebay, but always stuck to java-plants

know what u get.

the plants arrive tatty from any sender but like you say will regrow and spread.

in practical fishkeeper few years ago, a reader was using dried rabbit droppings for fertilizer and she

was please with results. Tank looked good from what i can remember :hey:

i use a sand substrate and dont like putting the plant fertilizer, or any other chemicals in with my clown loaches, so i always use just one bit per plant, and the plants are great on it. i just add a new bit every one to 2 months

greenline is also another very cheap fantastic plant seller

birstall garden center is cream of the crop, but expensive as they are tropica plants

aquaessentials is soon to stock plants.

Hope you enjoy the links.

Good look with your rabbit poo, i`ll stick to bulk chems. :)
