ebay fish

Hi, I have seen fish on ebay, they were in the home and garden category, then pets, then fish. If you have no luck let me know, I'll post the link.

they are in pets accessories for some strange reason

ebay rules state you arent allowed to sell livestock on ebay hence the rare sighting of live fish for sale. often a seller will advertise a tank 'with fish included' so the sale is for the tank, not the fish.

sorry :/

I thought that too but that rule is over-ridden by the rule
"any item that is "legally" allowed to be posted may be advertised
this includes fish, snails, shrimp etc.

There was another thread that talked about this - eBay indeed does allow you to sell your live fishes on their site.

I think it's allowed technically but not many people do it unless it is with a tank. I have only ever seen it a handful of times and I use ebay a fair bit.

It's common in the US though so I am sure it will be here before long.

Do UK's carrier ship live fishes? Unfortunately in Canada, none of them do (except airline carriers who charge insane amount of $$ for the delivery) so it isn't practical to sell them via mail ordering...

I am not sure, I know you can use a courier, as this is how I company I use do it, and I think Royal Mail will ship fry.

:)

Lucky you - at least there is one that carries live goods. Even the same companies that permit shipping fishes in US don't do it in Canada! (e.g. FedEx).

Grrr...

Or hey, you could try a site like Aquabid.com :D
