Eating Tropical Fish..

I was just wondering if they're ediable, and if you can give them to cats after they have passed away? Or if this is not recommended, why?

It isn't recommended because the fish in a tropical tank are fed different foods, swim in different waters and generally subject to different conditions (medicines, plant fertiliser, hardness/pH modifiers etc.). Consumption of ornamental fish is not advised, for both humans and animals.

If the fish died through disease it could be transferrable to another animal e.g. fish tuberculosis.
