Hey guys, I'm just want let you know there are very easy killifish species for beginningers. They are really easy breeders and pretty of them are mop spawners.

Here they are:

Bluefin Killifish ( Lucania goodei)
A small 1 to 2 inch colorful killifish especially the males with the blue fins. They are very peaceful and good for community. Through they like to eat blackworms or bloodworms, they can easy fed with flakes. The bluefin are often found in feeder tanks especially ghost shrimps that come from florida. Golden morph existed.

Pygmy Killifish (Leptolucania ommata)
Another small yellow killifish that only reached 1 1/2 inch when full grown. The colorful killi are very easy to keep with, especially outdoor tubs. Very peaceful.

Golden Killifish (fundulus chrysotus)
Common north american killifish species, they are easy to take care through they are not small killifish. This species can reach 6 inch long make golden wonder killifish look puny...through golden killifish can be fed with flakes and can breed unlike golden wonder killifish which required live foods for breeding purposes. Melanistic morph existed known as " Leopard killifish".

Medaka killifish
Through not true killifish, they breeding like killifish and look like killifish. Japanese medaka are coldwater species and can kept with other small community fish since this species only reached 1 1/2 inch long. Also Javanese medaka, another medaka species are suited for tropical tank since they like warm water between 74F to 78F through they can tolerate cold water like japanese medaka. Golden and grey morph existed.

"Glofish" or T1 glofish
Just japanese medaka with flursecent genes but they are also very easy to keep through dunno on breeding.

Diamond killifish (Adinia xenica)
Stunning brackish small killifish especially diamond shape body. They are easy to take care and also can spawning easy if you can keep them in brackish water. Through they can live in fresh water for short time, the killifish active better in brackish water.
