these were taken a while back at my Grandparent's house. for some reason this Eastern Water Dragon has recently disappeared. he was like a wild pet :byebye:

the magpie was trying to take the meat intended for the lizard

my Grandparents get so many animals in their backyard. they live on the waterfront so its understandable really. right now they have a duck nesting in a tree thats about about 2m tall :/
they also get grey herons which they feed once a day. they like to actually come into the house when they get impatient :D

What an unsuual combination :p I love that second pic where the magpie is starting to take off - realy nice shot of her. The dragon is amazing - if only I could have things like that in my garden (I have a fox though :p).

Fabulous. Apart from some friendlyish birds and a robin I get a hedgehog nightly. Comes onto the dinky patio bit too. Isn't at all worried about me sitting next to it while it tucks into thrown out leftovers originally put there for the birds.
Hope he turns up soon.
Hugs,
P.

He is absolutely gorgeous, the colours on him are fantastic. I wonder where he has gone?

yeah im really worried he has dyed or something. he was pretty fearless of us so maybe someone caught him and kept him as a pet. i dont want to think about it :(
or maybe he has just moved on.

there used to be a magpie (like the one bird in the picture) that came to by house everyday and it would sit on my knee or arm while i fed it meat and cheese. occasionally it would bring other magpies with it. then one day it disappeared :byebye:

Definitely cool pics. I love the one of him climbing up the wall. Maybe he just found a mate and wanted a little privacy :p

The only things that come to visit my gardens are the squirrels & the skunks who want to eat all of my plant bulbs or flowers. Or an occassional rabbit who the dog promptly chases from the yard.

That's cool, when I was staying in Sydney we used to get a huge lizard come into the house and eat the dog food. Freaked the pups out!
