My mate came round the other night (he has an 8' tank and a fish house) and we got chatting about doing the racking for my fighter tanks.
So, saturday morning, he's turning up with the wood and lots of tools and we're going to put the racking up.
The existing tanks will go on there for the time being but eventually, they'll be replaced by 4 tanks which i will make myself,
This is the area in the conservatory where it's going.....to the left of the window. Under the window will be added to later (might even do it that day if we've got enough wood).
This is how the main bank of tanks should look.
And the tanks will be built like this. Although it'll be one tank, there'll be a central divider of glass down the centre. By doing this and partitioning them off, it'll give me 64 sections (16 per tank) of 6" x 8" x 8"....ideal for growing on the babies.
