Earth Worms In A Tank

Just noticed an earthworm in my sisters new tank. Will this cause any harm. I think it came from the gravel as it was in an old tank in the garden. The gravels being changed anyway in the new tank but should all of the water be changed aswell?

Just remove it.
You have to steralise gravel in boiling water before you add it to the tank.

Thanks. I'll pass the advice on. My sisters going to change the gravel anyway, so she's going to remove the water.

it shouldn't cause problems, just remove it before it drowns. Once it is dead it will start to rot then cause problems. I feed my caecillians earthworms all the time. The fish never seem to care.
