Dyed Fish?

I was in the fish shop the other day when I saw some pink and blue tetras. I've been searching around for them on google, and I think they might just be dyed white skirt tetras.
They only have a thin line of colour near their dorsal fin and going down to their tail, so I'm not entirely sure.
Do you think they're dyed, and do you think I should buy them?

In my opinion you should never buy dyed fish. Its a cruel and needless practise. The dye wekanes and harms the fish and fades anyway. Buying them is just supporting the practise.

From what I have read it is very cruel and there is a high mortality rate with the practice.

I'll probably ask the people in the shop, just in case, though I really do expect them to be dyed.
If they are, I'll just have to find something else colourful to go in my tank

Yes they are dyed and no i dont think you should get them because by buying them you are supporting the dyed industry

Asking the people in the shop isn't always as straight forward as it sound's. Often staff in shop's dont know what they are talking about, shop's are there to make money and it is not uncommon for the staff to simply lie.
