My dwarf sag has literally taken over my tank, in foreground and midground areas. I love the plant, but it is quite long in the foreground. Is there anything I can do about it? I have been pulling up plants to put in my other tank. Also, my glosso is growing very verticle due to this, but I kind of like how it looks. I doubt any foreground plant can out compete the sag. It has taken over microswords and glosso....the battle wasn't even close. The microswords are the only plant that doesn't lok good...gets a bit of algae growth, particularly because it seems stifled by the sag...I loive the way the tank looks right now though :hyper:

get some plastic food tubs and cut out some strips, then make a wall in the substrate to stop them spreading.

That is a great idea. I could push back the sag and grow in a glosso carpet. I'll have to take some pictures and get you to tell me what you think. Dwarf sag gets rather large under good conditions, so I think it will be much better as a midground plant. I have alot of plants to rip out and put in my other tank now, but I wanted a new project :shifty:
