Dwarf Puffers: How much do they eat?

I'm going to have to leave the fish for a week without food since I don't trust my friends/petsitters to do it right. I intend to clean all the tanks before leaving so that should not be a problem. The dwarf puffers seem to metabolize fast so i assume they cannot go for a week without food (as our other fish can). Do dwarf puffers generally ration their food or will they try to eat it all at once (we feed them live food only--daphnia, worms, snails, scuds [brine shrimp when we're home to take out the dead ones]?

I think they eat everything they can find until they literally cannot fit any more into their stomachs. I have seen my puffers eat until they spit out extra shrimp, and then go off and try to find more. If you can get a good amount of snails in the tank they might spend a while hunting those.
