look in the oddball's forum and also the oddball's fish index

you should find plenty of info

Forum doesn't allow that link...

To find the link I found, just search 'Dwarf Puffers' On google, and click the first link. ;)

ok ta

what fish could NOT go with puffers
like i say i would like a school of some sort of tetras would they be ok

or platy

puffers are best kept by themselves

anything else might get torn fins or end up being a snack

I recommend that you don't get any Bettas till you sort your tank out. How is that going?

Can I just say - I remember bettas but I don't know why he got banned. If he realy does have fish and is considering buying dwarf puffers, we should advise him not to - not just ignore him.

Anyway, you can't keep dwarf puffers with anything else as they'll shred the fins off anything else. Also, they need 5 gallons per fish, excellent water quality and a very well decorated/heavily planted tank to keep them from fighting. They should also be fed small aquatic snails on a regular basis to keep their 'beak' trimmed.
