i disagree with the snails. mine always just sucks the snail out of its shell and then eats it. never bites the shell. also the best snails to use are young pond snails.

btw.......um what exactly is the prob if this is bettas.........

They don't have to bite the shell. It's worn down while they are trying to get at the snail.

I have no idea why bettas was banned to begin with but I suppose the problem is something to do with that.

Can I just say that I was one of the people who spoke up for bettas, with exactly the same arguments as Sylvia has just done. Then he resurfaced as bettas2, continuing to ignore all advice and giving evasive answers to all questions about his tanks. Now, as far as I can understand, he is in his third incarnation- but still not being very honest with us. Which makes it hard to give advice. The thread that runs through all his posts is "how can I buy more fish". He has not done anything to show us that he has sorted out the overcrowding situation he had originally. Nobody would be happier than me to give useful advice, but I am not happy to be in a situation where I am tricked into encouraging somebody add to a tank that is probably already overstocked. If he consents to being honest and straightforward with us, that would be a different matter.

if i remember rightly is he the guyy hu says his friend wanted like 5 endlers, but wanted them for himself. He is a kind of person that ifyou say " ur twice overstocked dont get anymore fish" he' buy a dwarf puffer to unstock them
