Dwarf Puffer And Kuhli Loaches? Work Or No Go...

well.. name sais it all. i have a 5 gallon that has come to be low on fish, and was looking at dwarf puffers.. but there is 4 very innactive and always hiding kuhli loaches in there atm.. would this work? and if so.. then how many dwarfs in a 5?

TBH dwarf puffers should be in a species only tank, I think the only fish that people have reasonably got away with keeping with them are ottos and that is providing they are introduced into the tank at the same time - but thats just what Ive read.

Also 5g would only allow you one DP without the loaches.

yea, just buy a 20 long or something and you can keep 4 or 5, still, with no loaches. fish happen to get eaten alive when housed with puffs.

alright sounds good thanks, ill keep it in mind for the future but i was actually just looking for ideas for the 5 gallon.. any suggestions? its filtered and heated

In my experience, khulis taste bad to other fish, so your puffers might not like them. I dont think puffers can catch them anyways. It should be okay if you have a few hiding spots for the khulis.
