Hey plant guys!

I want to get dwarf pennywort or dwarf baby tears. Have a few questions.

Does it require CO2 injection to thrive?

Will it do well in a 10gl shrimp tank with a standard 15W T8 full spectrum bulb on for 8 hrs a day?

I dose liquid carbon avery few days and liquid iron once a week after water changes.

I have java moss, anubais, amazon sword and java fern in the tank right now.

Thanks a bunch.

Anyone have any info on this?

Sorry, been busy the last couple of days.

Not grown it, have researched it thinking of growing it.

It's like most of the short, amphibious plants. It's expecting to be grown near the edge of a body of water and spilling into emersed form. Resultingly it likes good CO2 and tends to like it's good nutrients. Light is often less of an issue than people think, apart from the fact that the light needs to be capable of punching through to the substrate, which is where we tend to put plants like this.

Thanks doc! CO2 injections scare me. I don't understand it and don't want to add the extra cost. I would like a carpet style plant though. Are there any that do well without co2 infections?

most should do well with liquid CO2.

Glosso is probably the best candidate, HC is picky. Dwarf hairgrass is fairly hardy and Stagyrone Repens is nice, although less carpety.
