How do you fertilize and clean DHG if its carpeted.

DHG needs a fertilized substrate. Cap the substrate with sand. Co2 will also help carpet it. Some people say its essential, some say its not. Its up to you really but if you can buy it get it. You clean carpeted DHG with a gravel vacuum. Just stir it up a bit and then suck up the junk.
