Dwarf Gouramis

Out of interest. When a Dwarf Gourami raises its Blue fin, does this actually mean anything?

I have 1 female and 1 male Gourami and 2 Honey Gouramis and some Cherry barb in the same tank.

Normally they are trying to impress when they do that either for mating or to determine/confirm dominance. Is one of your honeys also a male?

I believe that both on my honeys are male.

how do oyu know the sex of the gourami and i too have witnessed them together rubbing on the sides, not sure what this is meaning. i'am new to gourami's here so please bare with my stupidity lol

Females:
Usually larger and plumper, honey's have a brown horizontal stripe, short rounded dorsal fin
Males:
Long pointed dorsal fin, smaller and more slim, usually much more vibrant in color.

mines must be female then because their dosil fins are both round at the ends. do you know what it means if they rub against one anothe ron their sides?
